Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, a 15 de agosto de 2021.- La Secretaría de Marina Armada de México (Semar) informó que tres municipios de la entidad mantienen el estatus de escasa presencia de sargazo en sus playas en el estado, donde hasta el último reporte solo Isla Mujeres contaba con ese reconocimiento.
Y es que a través de una infografía, la Semar señaló, que Isla Mujeres es el único municipio que mantiene ese estatus de manera absoluta, con todas sus siete playas limpias.
Mientras que Puerto Morelos y Tulum se han sumado a ese nivel, pero solo tienen cuatro de seis y tres de cinco playas limpias, de manera respectiva.
Asimismo, para el municipio de Benito Juárez (Cancún), Solidaridad (Playa del Carmen), Cozumel y Othón P. Blanco (Chetumal) tienen un estatus de moderado en cuanto a la presencia del alga.
Por lo que Cancún tiene ocho playas limpias de un total de 12, Solidaridad ocho de ocho, pero con presencia relativa del alga, Cozumel cuatro de siete y Chetumal, sus dos playas totalmente limpias, pero con algo de sargazo.
De acuerdo con la Semar, el último corte de esta información fue esta misma mañana y le fue entregado por cada uno de los municipios referidos.
