Mwrida, Yucatan a 29 de marzo de 2020.- Este día se decretó en el Código Penal del Estado prisión hasta por tres años y contempla multas de hasta 86 mil 800 a las personas diagnosticas o que presenten síntomas de coronavirus (Covid-19) y no respeten el aislamiento.
Y es que a través de un anuncio por parte del Gobierno del Estado se informó que la Ley de Salud dictamina que las personas que hubieran estado expuestas a esta enfermedad y que no respeten la limitación puesta por la autoridad sanitaria, así como quienes violen el cierre temporal de los locales o centros de reunión impuesto por esta causa, serán acreedores a una multa de hasta 86 mil 800 pesos.
De igual forma se establece que se podrá privar de libertad a quienes se interfieran o se opongan al ejercicio de las funciones de la autoridad sanitaria o se nieguen a cumplir los requerimientos y las disposiciones del Gobierno del Estado, provocando con ello un peligro a la salud de las personas.

Asimismo, se recordó que es necesario el lavado frecuente de manos, usar la parte interna del codo o un pañuelo desechable al estornudar o toser, mantener la sana distancia sin saludar de mano, abrazo o beso, y reducir a lo indispensable las salidas de las casas.
Cabe destacar que el Gobierno del Estado ha implementado medidas para prevenir el contagio, como la suspensión temporal de los eventos masivos, por lo que se optó por cerrar cines, bares, centros nocturnos, así como gimnasios y clubes deportivos, además de solicitar a los yucatecos quedarse en casa y así prevenir y controlar el contagio del Coronavirus Covid-19.
