Anuncian Cuarto Festival de la Butifarra en Jalpa de Méndez, Tabasco

Prevén la asistencia de 35 mil visitantes y una derrama económica de ocho millones de pesos
Villahermosa, Tabasco.- El Cuarto Festival de la Butifarra “Legado de Sabor y Tradición”, se realizará del 14 al 16 de diciembre en el Centro Social de Jalpa de Méndez, anunciaron la Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico y Turismo (SDET) y el Ayuntamiento de aquel municipio.
La directora del Instituto para el Fomento de las Artesanías de Tabasco (IFAT), Karen Paola Pineda Ruiz, y el director de la Oficina de Convenciones y Visitantes (OCV), Jorge Lerma Nava, afirmaron que este festival sólo es superado por el del chocolate y del queso.
Los expositores ofrecerán una gran variedad de butifarras de carne de res, cerdo y pollo, entre otras combinaciones en las que plasmarán su creatividad e innovación, indicó la funcionaria y añadió que también se podrá apreciar la cultura, tradiciones, artesanías y productos turísticos jalpanecos.
En tanto, Jorge Lerma Nava subrayó que mediante el trabajo conjunto de autoridades estatales, municipales y microempresarios, se fomenta el desarrollo económico, generan empleos, atraen más turismo e impulsan nuestras tradiciones gastronómicas.
Por su parte, el alcalde de Jalpa de Méndez, Jesús Selván García, enfatizó que habrá 50 expositores, prevén la asistencia de 35 mil personas y una derrama económica de 8 millones de pesos.
Además de promover las actividades económicas se afianzan nuestras tradiciones y espacios de recreación para tabasqueños y visitantes, sobre todo de la región sureste, agregó.
A la reunión informativa asistieron también el productor Antonio Magaña Cupil; el secretario del Ayuntamiento de Jalpa de Méndez, José Luis Córdova Ovando; el titular de Fomento Económico y Turismo municipal, Armando Izquierdo Gómez, y microempresarios gastronómicos.
